About Us
We are a statewide group of concerned parents committed to improving responsiveness to the needs of children of divorce and separation in Illinois. CRC-IL is an incorporated not-for-profit organization and the designated Children’s Rights Council affiliate for Illinois.
We are fathers, mothers, and grandparents who are talking with judges, attorneys, legislators, mediators, counselors, clergy, academics and all concerned citizens who want to be involved with programs to provide greater inclusion of both parents and better parental balance for children of divorced and separated families.
We are a Not-For-Profit corporation in the state of Illinois. We are in the process of obtaining tax-exempt status.
We are lead by a Board of Directors who receive advisement from professionals across Illinois. Our directors are spread across Illinois and reside in downstate communities as well as the greater Chicago area and the City of Chicago. We are non-political, non-religious, and open to all races, cultures, and creeds.
